MECOMED “Code of Business Practice”
The MECOMED’s “Code of Ethical Business Practice” regulates aspects of the medical devices industry’s relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs).
From January 1st 2018, the phasing out of the direct sponsorships and independent medical education has to be supported exclusively by means of Educational Grants. Such Educational Grants can be provided to Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) or Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) including Medical Associations.
